Community Engagement

Community Engagement is a Medicaid waiver service that supports individuals with developmental disabilities in living fuller, more independent lives. Through real-world activities, participants learn new skills, make friends, and become active members of their community.

• Skill  Building: Learn daily living and social skills in natural settings.
• Community Participation: Join local events, classes, and recreational activities.
• Volunteer Opportunities: Gain confidence and work-readiness through meaningful service.
• Relationship Building: Create friendships and natural supports beyond paid staff.
• Independence: Practice making choices and navigating community life with support.
